Scope

Covers all Retail Sales Executive and Sr.Retail Sales Executive in the Apple format. 

Types of Certification

1. Apple Staff Curriculum — Expert
2. Apple Staff Curriculum — Champion 
3. Apple Certified Support Professional

Amount of allowance

Amount of allowance on successful completion of the certifications is as follows:

• Allowance for the Expert level certification program is Rs.2000 per month
• Allowance for the Champion level certification is Rs.4000 per month
• Allowance for the ACSP is Rs.10000 which is a one-time payout

Permitted combinations

Combination of two of these certifications will qualify the team member to an entitlement of an allowance for both the certifications put together. 

• Expert and ACSP
• Champion and ACSP

Payout

• Allowance for Expert will be paid on a quarterly basis with the salary
• ACSP allowance will be paid post completing 1 year from the date of certification
• The allowance is taxable
• Termination of employment or expiry of the certification validity will lead to discontinuation of the payout

Procedure

• The designated program manager will collate the addition and deletion data of various certifications on a monthly basis
• Approval from the Retail Head needs to be taken before the data is sent to HR
• The data for the preceding month is given to the payroll representative before the 5th of the succeeding month
• The payout of allowance will be done with the salary

Validity

Policy will be effective from 1st April 2019 until further revision
