Induction is the process of converting a ‘candidate’ into a ‘team member’. It is crucial in helping individuals to become familiar with their new surroundings and the expectations of them in their new position. Success in the job and continued service with Ample can often be influenced by the impression given to a new team member during the first few weeks of his / her employment. A good and comprehensive induction to the Organisation and the job are therefore very important and it is the responsibility of the Supervisor to ensure that this is carried out for all reportees, both full and part time.
During the induction programme, the new joinee will be given an overview of the organisation, its values, culture and will meet his / her colleagues. He / She will also be exposed to the basic procedures, practices of running of the company and his or her department.
