Objective
The objective of this policy is to help Amplites who would like to pursue a new professional skill or hobby or develop an existing one.
Policy Commencement and Validity
The policy is effective from 1st Dec 2019 and will remain valid till revoked. This policy might be amended or withdrawn at anytime should there be a reason to do so, and appropriate communication will be done to the effect.
Scope
Open to all Amplites; On-roll as well as on contract.
Guidelines
- Team members who have completed one year of service in Ample are eligible to participate, and they can also opt for multiple training programs.
- The policy covers professional development programs, tuition reimbursement programs and other hobby-related courses.
- Professional development program would encompass certifications, seminars and conferences, while tuition reimbursement program will include any degree/diploma related program.
- Ample will contribute 50% of the course/tuition fee up to a maximum of Rs.10,000 per financial year per team member, and this will be reimbursed post successful completion of the course/semester.
- Department heads need to approve the reimbursements based on the submission of supporting documents including fee receipt, course/semester completion-certificate /completion-note.
- Travel, food and any other related costs are out of the purview of this policy.
- The course structure could be classroom setting, off-site, e-learning, lectures or personalised one-to-one sessions.
- Reporting manager and team member to jointly evolve a schedule to pursue the course (leave from work, with or without pay) in a manner so as to ensure there is no impact on business.
- Proof of attendance of program might need to be submitted wherever required.
- Financial assistance, if required, for the course can be sought as per the loan policy.
- Department Head and HR are to be notified if the team member withdraws from the course, or if the course gets cancelled.
Application Process
- The Learning Assistance Application form to be filled and submitted to HR along with approval of reporting manager and department head.

Reimbursement Process
- Upon course completion, learning assistance claim form to be submitted to HR within 45 days of course completion. Copies of course completion certificate/ note and fee-receipt / confirmation letter also to be attached.

- Company will electronically transfer amount to bank account of team member within 15 working days.
